New GPT Site: User Interviews, Ostensibly Pays ~$1.00 per Minute

We came across a new GPT (Get Paid To) site in the vein of UserTesting (internal link) and UsabilityHub: User Interviews (external link).

User Interviews is a multi-thread focus group site offering users the opportunity to apply for in-person, over-the-phone, online studies, and independent tasks.

According to the website, their clients prefer to interact with testers who link their LinkedIn or Facebook profiles, though this is not a requirement.

We signed up and applied for several tests (though we have yet to be accepted).  The tests we applied for paid between $0.50 and $1.50 a minute, the shortest of which being a 30 minute phone interview, and the longest of which was a one hour and 30 minute in-person interview.

Pay is generally through an Amazon gift card, though this is not specified as the only way pay is given.

Naturally, we will update you all as we begin to use this site more fully.

For now, see the screenshot below for a sample of what studies are available on User Interviews, and their payout amounts.
