Summary The market instability in March continued in April resulting in investment value losses in the Betterment account of $37.45. However, that account earned $43.15 in dividends which covered the losses. Currently the Acorns account is set to an aggressive portfolio which includes a lot of real estate and foreign stocks. This seems to have counteracted the US market volatility. While the return on the Acorns account was not great, it did show positive earnings of $9.12. Before going to the charts, a note on October’s earnings.  Readers will notice that there are no results for certain income streams, like the investments in Betterment.  There are two reasons for this: 1) some activities, like trades, were not performed in October, and 2) some income sources, like the Betterment account, report on a quarterly basis and so are not included in monthly reports for months which are not quarter ends.
